Steve's presentation is attached below.

Consultation about children with disabilities - Sheena Wooding

Brief Summary 07/11/2007

Nick Caws presented a brief overview and an update on Inclusion Standards for schools.

Helen Hobday EBSD presented an overview of data collection and new software to facilitate this collection. This gives an overview of pupil absence, fixed term exclusions, part time timetables and reflects on whether schools are fulfilling their role. This data collection started in September and will give the service a success rate of their intervention.

Steve Openshaw described the PSA targets. Mentioned pivats, SEN data, review documentation, IEP's, commissioning Sylvia White to develop systems within the authority and he also itemised what schools had done and the results were very positive and would encourage further government funding.

Claire Bibby mentioned SEN and ICT. The SEN website and Fred Coker's initiative training mainstream staff.
