Agenda:
- Discuss Aims and Objectives. Give copies asked to pass
onto their Head Teachers and SENCos
- Discuss agenda for next meeting
- Set date for next meeting.
Outcomes:
- General introduction
- Development of cluster meetings
- Discussed aims and objectives
- KP to act as mentor/facilitator for further meetings
- Discussed website and address given, section for TAs
and SSAs
- Discussed list of objectives
- KP how to use triggers effectively on how to find solutions
- Shared issues raised at KS3 meeting eg. Handbook,visiting
other schools
- Outlined the projected role of the advisory teacher
- To give copy of aims and objectives to headteachers
and SENCos
- LG could all areas in Tameside be included in same
cluster?
- KP it would be too big and therefore unmanageable.
Nedds to be focussed in clusters except for training
- KP does everyone want to continue with the group? Unanimous
YES!

- Changing roles mentioned to more in class support people
find it difficult time-wise
- Statements mentioned lack of
- More in class due to inclusion
- Talked about Literacy Club at KS3
- LG raised issues about work not being differentiated
by some teachers. Need to develop a form outlining strategies to differentiate
appropriately
- KP suggested a VAK testing pack. As a mentor/facilitator
suggested that KP can support us when working with pupils and with problems
- Agenda for next meeting to fill in a questionnaire,
talk time, everyone to bring an assessment and a draft portfolio of
testing materials JS responsibility and to identify one area they would
like for training
