Secondary Cluster Meeting - 11/11/05

Schools attending:

• Hartshead Sports College
• St Damians Science College
• West Hill Science College

Agenda:

• Discussed Aims and Objectives. Given copies asked to pass onto their Head Teachers and SENCos

Outcomes:

• Request to develop a handbook for TAs and SSAs
• Input requested on behaviour management
• Chat time built into meetings
• Request for bespoke training for TAs and SSAs
• Establish an area on the web site for TAs and SSAs
• Michelle from West Hill and Trish from Hartshead to share good practice at the next meeting
• Janet from Hartshead and Barbara from West Hill to discuss their area of difficulty in in-class support at the next meeting
• A questionnaire will be distributed at the next meeting
• To arrange my course on differentiation to be delivered at Harthead in the Spring Term so that all can attend and the December 6th course at Dukinfield cancelled
